when i was there, most of the bp clean-up crews were walking nowhere near the water, and just talking to each other. they werent even looking down most of the time. they need proper supervision.

That's so human of us! How many times we see plp in need near us and we just drive or walk away? No one is truelly ethical now in days. I say, report them! Get professionals to do the job. Do what's morally correct.

I was ther the first week of August and it was completely clean. Either it just happened or you are making it up. The beach was beautiful when I was there.

why would i make up something like that thats messed up and my dad talk to some that was doing clean up and they said the was a ton of oil 40 miles off shore and they had been getting calls and clean up a whole bunch

I have been down at Sunnyside Beach [west end of PCB] several times this summer and NO ONE has seen oil...BP workers are actively searching...they are instructed not to talk to beachgoers..they are doing their jobs.

they talked to me just fine. i saw maybe 6 workers the whole time i was there (5 days) that were close to the water, and actually paying attention. the others were nowhere near the water, and rarely looked down. oil was definately not on their mind
